General competence
The general competence of this title consists of designing, teaching and evaluating teaching aimed at road education and training, including that related to coexistence with different modes of transport and their use in conditions of safety and environmental sustainability, as well as the mobility on public roads, including that related to coexistence with the different modes of transport and their use in safe conditions, training and raising awareness for applicants to obtain a driving permit or license, male and female drivers and, in general, to any road user, educating in values of road safety and environmental sustainability of transport and instructing in the prevention of occupational road accidents and in sustainable and safe mobility.
People who obtain this title carry out their activity in small, medium and large companies dedicated to training drivers to obtain administrative authorizations to drive and, in general, training for road safety. They may also perform functions related to road safety education, occupational road safety and safe and sustainable mobility in public and private entities. The most relevant occupations and jobs are the following:
a) Traffic training teacher.
b) Director of driving schools.
c) Trainer of road awareness and re-education courses.
d) Dangerous goods course trainer.
e) Director of dangerous goods training centers.
f) Educator in road safety education programs or activities in educational centers, senior centers, town councils, associations, companies, state, regional or local administrations.
g) Workplace road safety advisor in public and private entities.
h) Advisor on mobility plans in public and private entities.
i) Teacher in road safety.
j) Monitor safe driving courses.
